Escute esta Palavra de Deus
Nisto é em nós aperfeiçoado o amor, para que, no Dia do Juízo, mantenhamos confiança; pois, segundo ele é, também nós somos neste mundo.
1 João 4.17
OBSERVAÇÃO
Deus é amor. Esta é a declaração contundente de João para seus leitores. Esta é a natureza de Deus e por isso esta mesma natureza se manifesta em seus filhos. O amor é a marca de Deus em nossas vidas. Ao permanecermos neste amor nós somos aperfeiçoados.
Como Paulo escreve em Romanos 5:5: o amor de Deus é derramado em nosso coração pelo Espírito Santo. Aqui João fala de que este amor é aperfeiçoado em nossas vidas. Recebemos o amor de Deus em nosso espírito e agora a nossa alma precisa ser trabalhada por este amor. Este amor é aperfeiçoado em nossa alma e nos dá confiança no Dia do Juízo. Pois o amor de Deus não irá nos expor, mas acolher por causa da obra de Cristo.
João conclui este versículo com uma frase intrigante: “Segundo Ele (Jesus) é, também nós somos neste mundo”. Hoje nós manifestamos ao Senhor Jesus neste mundo.
APLICAÇÃO
Quero me render cada dia mais ao amor de Deus derramado em meu coração. Quero ver meus pensamentos, sentimentos e vontade totalmente influenciados pelo amor de Deus. Assim, vou conseguir manifestar ao Senhor Jesus em meu dia a dia.
